Biography
Dr. Anish G. Ghodadra is a board-certified interventional radiologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, with a joint appointment in the Swanson School of Bioengineering. He founded the UPMC 3D Printing Program during residency and serves as its Medical Director.
His clinical practice spans interventional oncology, women's health embolization, venous interventions, endovascular AV fistulas for dialysis, and musculoskeletal embolization. He is the Sponsor-Investigator of a UPMC clinical trial of Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis (NCT04951479).

- Interventional oncology: Y-90 radioembolization for liver tumors; percutaneous radiofrequency, microwave, and cryoablation.
- Venous interventions: Catheter-directed and mechanical thrombectomy for DVT and pulmonary embolism.
- Dialysis access: Endovascular AV fistula creation and maintenance.
- 3D printing: Patient-specific anatomic models, surgical guides, and procedural planning.

3D Printing Leadership
Dr. Ghodadra founded the UPMC 3D Printing Program during his residency and now serves as its Medical Director. The program creates patient-specific anatomic models, surgical guides, and pre-procedural simulators used across surgical and interventional services at UPMC. He is a co-author on multi-society RSNA Special Interest Group consensus papers on appropriate clinical situations for 3D printing in radiology.
